The 2007 SCAC Fall Record & Fact Book is hot off the press and contains over 270 pages of stats, standings and records for all six conference-sponsored fall sports. Contained within is a historical look at women's cross country in the SCAC - dating back to 1991 - including a complete listing of SCAC championship meet results and a listing of every All-SCAC team. Also, there is a complete list of Runner-of-the-Week honorees, as well as Runners-of-the-Year, Coaches-of-the-Year and much more. DePauw's finish highest-ever for a SCAC team

, Minn. - DePauw University became the first SCAC team to ever post a Top 10 national finish in cross country, placing seventh at the NCAA Division III Women's Cross Country Championships at St. Olaf on Saturday. Trinity's Arthur named South/Southeast Women's Athlete-of-the-Year

NEW ORLEANS, La. - D'Ann Arthur of Trinity University was named the South/Southeast Region Women's Athlete-of-the-Year by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. Arthur became Trinity's first regional champion when she raced to the South/Southeast title. Her four-second victory helped the Tigers finish second in the team standings and qualify for the NCAA Championships. Complete Release | Trinity Release

- There was little change for SCAC schools with the release of the regional rankings by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. The conference still has five schools ranked but there was some shuffling in the South Region. Trinity University is still second and Rhodes College remains sixth. But Centre College is replaced at 10th by Southwestern University - the Pirates first appearance of the season in the poll. DePauw makes it five straight at the SCAC Women's Cross Country Championships
Trinity's Loeffler earns Runner-of-the-Year honors
GEORGETOWN
, Texas - DePauw University, ranked 13th in the nation, won its fifth straight SCAC women's cross title Saturday at the 2007 SCAC Championship meet held at Southwestern University. Lauren Reich, last year's top finisher, led DePauw with a second-place finish. Emily Loeffler of Trinity University earned Runner-of-the-Year honors with a finishing time of 22:33.70 - the fifth fastest at the conference championship meet since the SCAC went to a 6K for the women in 2005.
