SCAC Volleyball Player-of-the-Week
(For matches played from Monday, Oct. 29th through Sunday, Nov. 4th)
Sophomore right side Morgan Anderson of Trinity University led the Tigers to a 5-0 SCAC sweep in the final regular season conference divisional, clinching the SCAC title for Trinity - the school's fourth consecutive league championship and eighth in the last 10 years.

Anderson played in the first four matches of the weekend and totaled 42 kills in 91 attacks, against only five errors for a hitting percentage of .407. She also recorded 32 digs in her 11 games, averaging 2.91 per game.

Anderson hit over .400 in three of the four matches and scored a double-double in kills and digs in the title-clinching match against DePauw - finishing with 15 kills and 14 digs and hitting .351 in the match.

For the season, Anderson is hitting .300 (sixth in the SCAC) with 225 kills (2.14 per game) and 340 digs (3.24 per game) from her right side position.

Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Senior outside hitter Janie Hodgkinson of DePauw
hit .298 with 63 kills (4.50 per game) and 76 digs (5.43 per game) as the Tigers completed its season with a 3-1 run at the SCAC Cross-Divisional #2 and a second place finish in the conference. Hodgkinson finished her illustrious career as the conference's all-time leader in kills with 2,214. She also finished with 2.045 digs, second all-time in the SCAC and her career .307 hitting percentage ranks seventh all-time. Senior middle hitter Jennifer Krause of Rose-Hulman capped her collegiate career with 88 kills in five matches last week, helping lead the Engineers to a 3-2 record and a fourth-place finish in the SCAC standings. Krause smashed 4.40 kills per game and hit .322 for the week. She also tallied 21 block solos and 18 block assists, a 1.95 block-per-game clip. Krause tallied the second-best single-game block total in school history with 13 against Millsaps. Junior outside hitter Jill Adams of Millsaps had 89 kills and 73 digs as she led the Majors to a 3-2 mark at the SCAC cross-divisional. Millsaps finished in fourth place in the conference and a 22-12 overall record. Senior middle hitter Jackie Ehrentraut of Rhodes finished her career with a great weekend. With the team facing injuries to three starters, Ehrentraut had to come in and play for the entire matches. Her inspired play led to three victories, including a huge win over Centre. In five matches, she had 46 kills, 45 digs, eight service aces and eight blocks. Junior middle blocker Lauren Crissey of Centre posted great numbers, despite the Colonels' going 0-4 at the SCAC cross-divisional. Crissey averaged 4.5 digs and 2.7 kills per game during the tournament, and also had five assists, one service ace, three solo blocks and three assisted blocks. Oglethorpe, Sewanee and Southwestern did not nominate anyone for the award.
