Ark. - Hendrix College’s Board of Trustees directed the
college’s administrators to develop NCAA Division III
non-scholarship intercollegiate football and women’s lacrosse
at the college. Football has been absent from the college
since the 1960 football season.

has eight named to 2008 Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division III
All-Region Teams
The
SCAC placed eight softball players on the 2008 Louisville
Slugger/NFCA Division III All-Region Team, including two
players from SCAC champion DePauw University that earned First
Team status - pitcher Megan Soultz and catcher Rachel Gill.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The NCAA
Division III Women’s Golf Committee announced 20 teams and 11
individuals that will participate in the 2008 NCAA Division III Women’s Golf
Championships. SCAC Champion Southwestern University along with
at-large selection DePauw University will compete in the NCAA
Division III Championships which take place May 13-16
at Centennial Oaks Golf Club in

Top-ranked DePauw Earns a Number-one Seed; Heads to Rock

GREENCASTLE, Ind. -
The 37-2 and top-ranked Tigers
open NCAA Division III Softball Championship play on Thursday,
May 8, when they face 27-15 Maryville (Mo.) University at a
first-round site in Rock Island, Ill. hosted by Augustana
College.

MEN'S GOLF
Oglethorpe
prepares for NCAA Championships
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -
The NCAA
Division III Men's Golf Committee has announced the teams and
individuals selected to participate in the 2008 NCAA Division
III Men’s Golf Championships. Oglethorpe University, the SCAC
automatic qualifier, was the only conference school chosen to
compete.
The championships will be held May
13-16, at the Chateau Elan Resort in Braselton, Georgia.
